Wacky crap?

A couple weeks ago I loaded an ll3 file onto my xcal2 which allready had 3 xtr files on it...ok so it now had one ll3 and two xtr. files...well I put the ll3 on the truck without changing or altering anything and just did not like it so I switched back to one of the xtr files my old favorite with many miles on it..and it seemed off.....so I went back inside to reload all the orriginal xtr files back onto the xcal2 ..but the xcalaibrator software will not erase anything(error unable to erase)..so I use the liveload software to erase all files(not the factory one) then load the xtr files with the xcal software....disconect the battaries in the truck for a couple hours hook them back up reload my favorite xtr file...and all seems well...what was going on....?
Corrupt files loading them onto the xcal2? or corrupt files loading them onto the truck? Wacky stuff man......

XTR is crap. Check to make sure the com port setting coincides with your com port shown in the control panel. Remember when we looked it up for the Live Link. Check it again because it may have changed. This is why I have moved over to LL3 on everything.

I have a question as I have a TEC 6 and SCT with files not including the .ll3 ending for Live load 3.
I updated the tuner with live load 3 and one of my trusty files that always worked well, now it does not work well at all, as a matter of fact I cannot get any of the files, the one .ll3 that I have and 4 other non Live load 3 files to work worth a damn. I put a non ll3 file in the truck that I did not erase at the time of the update and the truck will not shift out of 3rd or 4th gear under full throttle. What is going on? Since then I have cleared all of my files and cannot get any of the files that do not end in .ll3 to work with the tuner now. In essence, I do not have any files that will work with my tuner with the .ll3 file update now. Any Ideas, anyone?

when i do XTR files, i use extreme tune, then to go to .ll3 files i use Live load to delete the xtr files, then load up the .ll3 files, and vice versa always using liveload to erase the other files.

You can have SCT convert the xtr files into ll3 files for you.

What he did was renamed the files and forgot to type .ll3 after them.
