What might this be?

We found this in the front passenger side cylinder wall. It is smooth, no rough edges or pitting. It appears to be an unusual wear pattern, but never seen anything like it before. Any input would be appreciated.

It looks like aluminum has embedded into the steel wall.

Well, granny is back alive and running. I have been told that it is most likely coolant stains from getting hot. The only surprise we found was a bad water pump. Everything else was ok. The gaskets did look pretty bad though. It was a long weekend but when I hit the freeway and just happened to find a Hemi boy, I could not resist. I just had to put him in his place. I was told to run it hard to make sure everything was gonna seal and not puke. So far so good.

Sounds like you are back to having fun. Destroy all other keys and keep Matt away from it. You might want to cut the datalink connector off.

LOL The one good thing about Matt is if he breaks, he fixes it whether he wants to or not! I don't mind being a test truck. If I cut the datalink off then I won't get to go faster and then I will never get the numbers I crave! More is better.... most of the time!
