Its hard to get off and you will wind up burning yourself if you don't let it sit for a LONG time.

whats going on december 10th at TV?Nuttin' special. Just last Test n' Tune to see whta these mods do.

Great, now I hear the dieselsite filter sucks. I can deal with waiting for it to cool. Maybe I'll find a better spot to mount to make it easier to remove.

I'd get some numbers if I could find a dyno! I can't find one.

the track is the best dyno!

Tulsa Raceway is closer and alot better track. They are open all of december i believe. All the lightnings run high 13s at TV and they run low 13s here at Tulsa Raceway Park.

Then you get the winers and criers that say traction sucked, trans slipping, blah blah blah. Same with a dyno, you have correction factors, type of dyno, blah blah. Too many factors involved. You need to do both dyno testing and drag racing. Then take a estimated of both accounts to really see where you stand. Maybe a minimum of 6 runs on both. Thats my take on it.

regardless of traction off the line or 60ft time, your mph will always remain very close, and thats what determines the power youre making anyways. your e.t. is for bragging rights. hardly any of the dyno runs are non corrected either, so its impossible to accurately compare that way. you can turn a 400/750 pull into a 450/850 pull with the click of a button, and sadly a lot of operators will do this to please the customer. lol, mine was startled when i told him to ditch the correction completely!

More explanation Mikey. I dont see how traction will not effect the outcome of ETs. Throw a set of slicks on and you should be faster because the power is getting put to the ground. If your spinning, you are losing time.

actually, its kinda reversed. the time you are spinning, youre building up speed. if you put slicks on, youll lose a little mph because youre going the whole time. its really hard to explain and have it make sense, you just have to go out and do it. this holds consistent with every vehicle ive ever raced, or watched race.

next time youre at the track, run once in 4wd and once in 2wd. your 4wd 60ft will prolly be .3 seconds faster, but i garuntee your mph will be faster in 2wd...
