All Racing in the NHRDA is done in a bracket format. We use 2 classes. (PRO 1 and PRO 2)

PRO1 13.99 and Faster- Follow the rules of the NHRA PRO Sportsman class
PRO2 13.00 and Slower- Follow the NHRA rules for the Sportsman Class

In the 2006 rule book the ET (Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman) section starts on page 18. The general regular section starts on page 194.

From time to time we may have a all out heads-up race if we have enough drivers wanting to do it and the track allows.

It depends on the track and how close the look at it ....

slower than 12 seconds max crank height centerline it 36"
trucks running 10.00-11.99 max crank height centerline is 31"
and 24" if your under 10.00 :D

another thing that we have to keep an eye on is the Turbo issue


A rule was implemented this year and then revised in March and the requirement of wearing a jacket. The revised rule basically states if you a non OEM supercharger, or a non OEM turbocharger, and run between 10.99 and 13.99, then you must wear a 3.2a/1 jacket. I have always read that as if your vehicle did not come with a supercharger or turbo charger, and you add one then you must wear a jacket.

I'm tring to go but not sure about what Christmas party I may have to go to. This time of year is just crazy for parties for me. I'm still hung over from Saturday. Open bars are tuff ,its like a buffet just can't stop........
