well verdict from ford was blown head gaskets. Getting them replaced and arp studs are being used. Thanks Doug for all your help!! Service advisor even brought in his personal trailer and had a car and other things added to test my truck so i didnt have to bring my trailer. Hope to take picture of cab off the truck, kinda scared but i know they will do a good job.

lol, right i wish i didnt have to have it torn into and the cab raised. Just what i want to tell everyone my ford is having problems. a turbo, head gaskets, hpop fittings. I usually try to brag about how sweet it is when using this as reasons.

just brag about how sweet it was to get free labor installing headstuds, and that you saved about 1000 bucks...

cept when the dealer finds out it gaskets, you go in the next day and they already have the truck torn apart, and one head already back on the truck. Thats what happened here, so no ARP's till the next time it happens :)

well studs are in, he said they feel much much better than stock when torquing them down. he is giving me stock updated studs also. new egr cooler was put on for just in case and reflash completed and adjusted for tire size. he said his chest and arms were sore from tightening the arp studs. very very good guy!!!

245ft lbs will do that to your arms.

My mechanic said the same thing... then he had to do it again

exactly what happened to me.... :D Doug got the studs to me quick and they are now officially in the truck; along with a new driver's side head, new turbo and new gaskets, all under warranty, minus the studs of course.

This was my truck yesterday. Today it looks the same except the motor is fully assembled now, they're putting on the new gearbox and steering pump and then lowering the cab tomorrow. Hope to have it back Thursday and get Doug's tune loaded back into it....

looked exactly like mine. truck is back with new flash. seems louder than it used to be. not so much of a soft buzz with the purging of the spool valves but it doesnt bother me. truck seems to run good with same possibly more lag time but i havent driven it in over a week so im not used to it anymore. well see what milage says.

ZZR3? Doug, were you at SEMA, wished I would've known that. We were at SEMA all day, then kicked it over to Hooters to do some gambling until about 11:30 or midnight, then moved on to the parties till about 4 then went back to the tables where ever we had ended up.... :D
