you know, I so wanted to use the :upyours: smiley as soon as I saw it but figured I'd be nice on my first post being a 'new member' but hey, it's my third so it'll work.

What shop were you talking to? Some of it I got from Tweeters, some I got through a friend who markets/sells factory direct to retail shops and a few individual items came from Ebay. There's a good shop in Sherman who does pretty good install work. I did some of my install, built my box and one of the shops in sherman did the finishing for me and did my alarm install. Hi-Tek Audio I think it is. As SOON as my truck gets out of the shop, it's going in to finish up with the reverse camera install and a 12" drop-down on the ceiling.

not sure what kind of stuff your looking for but I know a guy in dallas who deals stereo to the retailers and he has a set of Boston Z components, which are $1000 speakers and by far the very best I've ever heard in mobile audio, and I believe he'd take like 400 for them and they're either new in box or so barely touched you couldn't tell the difference. I'd jump on them in a heartbeat but i already have these MB's and don't feel like swapping out and trying to sell mine.

get yourself a flush-mounted box in the bed. cut it and the cab open creating an enclosure behind the rear seat. triple dynamat and foam it, seal it up with the cab and then put 3 JL 13w7's in it, power it with the JBL 6000 and you'll be seeing stars..... :D

I have 3 10w6's and they're big enough for me now, especially with 650 on each one..... and still get to keep my back seat with more legroom than my wife's Hummer.
