What do you guys recommend for a fuel pressure gauge? I am going to buy myself one for XMas and am looking for recommendations on a complete gauge set up, I dont want to be chasing fittings or other stuff. I also want to match my Isspro EV boost, trans and pyro gauges.

http://www.itpdiesel.com/store.php?crn=158&rn=431&action=show_detail

Ran it over to the driver's side fender and secured it, then my sender threaded into it perfectly. Worked like a charm. The adapter there taps into an unused port on the filter housing, on the side you want to pull the pressure from.

Thanks...What did you get for a gauge? How high will my pressure be? Will a 60 psi gauge be enough?

I would go with a 0-100... Isspro does not have a electric fuel pressure gauge yet, but you could use a oil pressure. They will have one in a few months...

DO NOT GET A MECHANICAL GAUGE. It can only be mounted in the engine compartment unless you want your cab to smell like fuel.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping to match my Isspro's though, I think it is going to look like ass with three of one brand and one of another. I guess I will hold out and wait for Isspro to release something

Or do what I did and replace them all to Colbalts.

Then get the mechanical gauge and don't put any teflon tape on the fittings.

teflon tape didnt stop the diesel from getting out my transfer tank anyways. had to use a special paste that looked like pvc glue...

hey mikey, whats welded egr in your sig. mean?

mikeym
12-23-2006, 06:06 PM

is it ok to just unplug it, or when you get the sct tuned to do the egr blockoff, does that pretty much make it like its not there or is that to do with just the cooler?

mikeym

theres no comparable substitute to welding it shut...
