The red Mustang in the video is a twin turbo. At the track it runs 11's. I took him on the jump pretty bad. At the end of the race I was in the lead...guess that's all that matters.

No way in fuck that's an 11 second car. A real 11 second car would have handed you your ass about 100 feet into that race. Yes...your 4wd will get the jump...but a real 11 second car would have made up that difference in short order.
Besides that...what kind of wuss has a twin turbo car that ONLY runs 11's...and drives around on stock wheels. ?
Here's a real twin turbo car...my brother is the crew chief...it only runs 6's in the 1/4. LOL

ON THE TRACK...it is an 11 second Mustang, and it is very much turbo charged...I know they have some video of it running 11's at the track, and I'll have more probably Wed. if he comes with us to the track...
Who said a twin turbo had to run 6's in the 1/4? I've seen plenty that don't come anywhere close to that!!
Not to mention anyone that knows a fuckin' thing about racing knows that racing on a track that's nice and sticky is a long fuckin' shot from runnin' on a cold ass Interstate when the temperature outside is in the 30's...
Anyhow, I don't know what happened to the damn car. I know it does run 11's at the track. He claims that he broke traction off the line and then missed two shifts...
Now, I ain't claiming my shit runs 11's (I know it doesn't). It was just a cool race with a car that does run 11's on the track...he fucked up and lost...so what? I lost a race with a damn bone stock Chevy truck one time because I blew off a turbo hose...can I go back and say "O well my truck runs in the 13's and yours runs in the 16's so you can't say you beat me?" What the fuck kinda bullshit is that....
Man, you guys are fucked up man...it was a race, shit happens.
Just for the record, HIS CAR WILL DESTROY MY TRUCK...I GOT LUCKY BECAUSE HE FUCKED UP...

I just went and called the guy. He said he’ll be at the track with us this Wed. so I will have some video of him running 11’s. I also asked him what tires he was running on his car and they were street slicks…not stock Mustang tires.
The only thing I know about this race is I barely know the guy. He told me his car runs 11’s on the track and they wanted us to line up to see if I could beat him out of the hole. He asked how I wanted to do it and I said “let’s just run the ¼ out…it’ll make a good video”. I pulled up on the line, spooled up to 2400 RPMs, honked 3 times, and launched on the 3rd honk. Hooked up good and blasted out of the hole…I don’t know how far I took him out of the hole…it looked like I blasted him good from the hole, but then again I don’t know a whole lot of people that are launching at 2400RPMs…
Past that I don’t know if he gave up when I hole shot him, missed gears, or what the fuck happened. All I know is that when I got to the end of the ¼ I was in front.
I didn’t see the turbo under his hood either…I did however hear that his car whistles more than my truck with 4” MBRP straight piped, and I hear a turbo scream at WOT…maybe he has a tape of a turbo whistle that he plays over his radio really fucking loud when he races to give the appearance of a turbo…
You guys are freakin’ nuttier than a squirrel turd…I’ll have more videos this week from the track and I assure the outcome will be what you want to see…

While I fully agree that something truly that quick would have hell hooking on the street...even on drag radials...which I highly doubt it had in the video....it would still pull some crazy mph on the big end.
Also...the claim that he lost traction...on the video I watched...there's neither tire smoke nor black marks proving he lost traction....so I'm not sure I'm buying that.....based on what the video you posted shows.
The reason I doubt it's on DR's is because of the width of the tire in the vid...it looks to be stock to me....most DR's are quite a bit wider than stock.
I'd love to see more video...better quality if possible...with sound.
All I see in the vid posted is a slightly modded 4wd beating what appears to be a stock Mustang.
Don't get al bitchy...I'm just teling you what that particular video shows us. If you prove me wrong I'll be more than happy to give you an appology if you want one...till then...I'm calling foul on the car.

The car has two different rims...the front rims are the stock ones with regular street tires. The back are a different rim with street slicks. I think I caught the car in some pics yesterday at the parade...if I did I'll post them.
The only reason the video does not have sound is because the guy filming it is in the Dakota R/T I had just raced riding behind us...take into account that this is not filmed from the side of the road...it's filmed from a vehicle chasing behind us.
In this video you can see his tires spin some coming off the line...not enough that I thought he would not catch me, but he does spin off the line some. Now, when he hit the brakes I looked at my speedo and I was doing around 80 something MPH...I'm not sure if he even tried to catch me...
Regardless either way a kill is a kill, and that car does run 11's in the 1/4. As soon as I get him to the track I'll post the videos of his runs.

Correction on the Mustang...I saw him at the Mardi Gras parade today. Asked him to pop the hood. The GT is not turbo charged. I swear he told me that, but there isn't a turbo under that hood...
It does have a supercharger though.
I swear that he told me that thing was turbo...dont' know if he was trying to pull my leg or not. He says he has around 550RWHP...

sounds like alot of guys I run into at the track before they run..."I know it'll run 11's or high 10's " and then proceed to go out and bust a 14. If people knew the difference between a 12 second ride and a 11 or 10 it would be a different story,but most have no idea. And yes I do know because my ranger is in the 9's.

He could run 12.30 at the tract but there is no way in hell he's going to run 12.30 on the street with DR'S he maybe runs a low low 14 in the street especially with 550hp there is no way he will get traction at the street with stock suspension and tires..How fast is the truck?

My truck?? It's went in the 13's at the track. I got some new tunes in and went to try them out tonight. The track was real slick off the line. I was only pulling about 1500 RPM's off the line vs. my normal 2400RPM and was running 14.1 - 13.9.
It runs okay, but ain't the fastest thing out there...
I just can't get over that track tonight...I actually went out on the road and was launching harder than I could on the strip...
Anyhow, that car was there and he was running on the street slicks and was running 12.5's 12.6's, which was pretty fuckin' good on that track...
I did see a few diesels running out there...had a Dodge Bully Dog truck 4x4...it was running in the low 15's. Did actually put up one 14.5 I think...Also had a Duramax Bully Dog truck and it was running high 15's.

O, and just to let you know how slick that track was...
First run I launched at 1800 RPM and went 14.3. Second run launched at 2200 RPM and went 14.9! Started launching at 1400-1500 RPM and started hitting 14.1's and 13.9's...
To the tracks credit though they had declared it a rain out earlier in the day. Judging from the track conditions when we were there it should have remained that way because everyone was fighting for traction...

oh i can't launch at 2400 rpms neither on the track nor the street it starts wheel hopping..so i launch at 1800 to 2100 rpms my truck runs a 13.4 with a 1.83 60ftr

The best '60 we were pulling last night was about 2.1-2.3...that's about all I could pull out. I launch most of the time around 2400, but I might have bigger tires than you...normally the '60's are in the 1.8 range...

Dont you think you should be paying closer attention to launching off of you boost psi rather than rpms? I dont know if you know who jeff garmon is but last time we all went down to the track he had me launching off of my boost.Your truck isnt like a big block chevy with a huge stall in it.

If I had a boost gauge that method would work great, but I don’t have it in yet. Hopefully we’ll put it in next week and I can use that method.
Only method I have right now is trying out different RPMs on the street and seeing which one seems to launch the best…

I am running an SCT with custom tunes. I have the boost gauge...I'll install it soon as I have a chance...I am not hard on my truck at all. If we go to the track it goes one run, then it sits for 20 minutes at least before it hits the track again....

Well, soon as I have the boost gauge in I'll watch it. It should be easier to watch on the pillar. It's kinda difficult looking down watching the RPMs while trying to watch the tree...

plus you are never going to be able to dial in where you are getting traction like you can by the boost numbers.I know that you are just a casual racer but it is stil nice to try and get everything out of what you got.

It's a Camaro...and it's also the quickest and fastest small block twin turbo 10.5 car in the country....no mullets needed.
It's the only one to go 4.40's in the 1/8 mile.
4.42 @ 169 mph to be exact....that's a 6.70 1/4 mile at 216 or so....in case anyone wondered.
