Hey Doug.this is my sencond post so be easy. I have been running your race file for a while now and noticed recently that when driving. The truck going into 5th gear at Low RPM's. the truck bucks and surges. This is going 45 MPH then rolling into the throttle staying in 5th. It will buck until I let off and bring the psi down a little below 25. But rolling down the highway and stomping the throttle at 65 it is like a two stroke once the PSI reaches 25 it is like the power band kicks in and it starts pulling like crazy. It still bucks but only a little. Running through all the gears the truck only sees 24 PSI max. But once OD kicks in I can hit 30 no problem. The truck is a 2005 crew cab dually. the strategy is
"VXCFODB TQCJ0D2". The truck runs great otherwise. I know your a busy guy. Just give me a shout when you get a chance. Thanks.617-957-3607 -Shawn. sorry for long post.

Do you want the non lockup race file?

Hey Doug. Let me give the non lock up file a try.. My email is Jeep425mud@yahoo.com.
The tune that surges is the second CZP2 file you sent me. I reloaded the first tune you sent me and the problem seems to be gone. When running the second file the pedal is very touchy. I am going to test it some more on my lunch break.

Little update. I reloaded the second tune back in and it is just as the other post said the driveline is just wound up. The truck runs great!!!

is this with stock turbo/sticks and stock converter ???

i would get the same surging issues you mention, but only when the converter was locked in high gear
and it only happened w/larger turbo and a low stall converter..

i now have a 2500 stall so i should be ready for my 66mm w/out any surging issues..
