ok, one more ?....how come the 6Ls dont put down as much torque as most?? like dodges and chevys and shit put down pretty much double the torque as hp right? but my truck put down 490 horse and 860 tq and dougs put down 500 and 900......:confused:

These guys switch parts like underwear. The turbos are back apart trying to find a mysterious reason for the exhaust wheel to be getting nibbled away. Everything was going well untill some nitrous backfires out the exhaust. The bearings are still good and there is no shaft damage.

I hope to be able to get the suspension right on my truck so I'll be able to pull off one day too! Until then i'll just keep knocking the tenth's off just by simple tuning.

(It seems that i can only leave on 12#'s and then i have the nitrous come on like 5-6 tenths as soon as i launch in 4hi. That seems to be the best for me in the street and at the track so far. I have been trying to play with it as much as possible to find what works the best for me. I do only have 285/75/16's. The 05 truck we use to run had 35's and you could leave as hard as the brakes would hold which was between 25-30#'s and then right after you launch you could shoot it. But that truck was not quick as mine. I have wondered if i left at like 5#'s and shot it as soon as i move what kind of time it would do wether it helped or hurt it.

(I only make 25-27 psi on stock turbo now and really havent seen any else post the times that I have run yet. All the other trucks that we have make 30-35 and one has made close to 40psi with the stock turbo. So as far as boost pressure goes I dont agree that more is better all the time. All the other trucks that we do have run about 2-3 tenths slower just in the 1/8mi. We all do have same mods. They all can leave on 20+psi, to where i can only leave on 12psi. And yes I still have SMOKE and plenty of it. Thats why when its necessary I'll clean it up alittle with small shot.)

From all the cars and trucks I've seen street race they allways get better traction on the track unless you have BHT at the street then it's a different ball game...I know I can never launch as good in the street as in the track. I can only launch with the bottle in the track at 1600-1800 rpms due to the wheel hop and tire spin..Another thing that could of caused that truck to get worse 60' at the track is Did you guys go through the water box or around??

From all the cars and trucks I've seen street race they allways get better traction on the track unless you have BHT at the street then it's a different ball game...I know I can never launch as good in the street as in the track. BUT I do have a STOCK injectored, turboed, head bolted 4X4 6.0L that I will race in the street or at the track, 1/4mi or the 1/8th mile it really doesnt matter to me and its not going to be for FREE neither. So.... someone will loose something ecspecially if we have to drive any distance.

I have Ryan Casserly build the 190s. The GoGoTurbo is non existant. After 2 exhaust wheel failures due to improper machining its not gonna happen.
