Does anyone know if there are any a/c problems with these trucks. my 05 every year has to go in to get charged and fixed. doesnt work now and need to take it in. they find it low on freon but when they leak test it has no leaks...last time they found a bad o-ring and replaced it. im tired of it.....

oh ya.....:hate:

Did the head unit go dead or does it just blow warm? What is wrong with it?

i have the knobs(yes i said knob) and you can hear the compressor keep clicking on. it blows warm on max and highest fan and thats the coldest because it has the most air movement. others blow hot all the time.

I would be curious as to where all the refrigerant went. Its cycling the compressor because the low side is dropping below 24psi and the pressure switch is opening the field on the compressor. Its supposed to do that to keep the evaporator from freezing over.

if all thats working as normal it should be low on freon, right?

That would be the first guess, but the pressure switch could be messed up. You could try to jumper it to see if keeping the compressor engauged will cool it down, but without having gauges you wont know whats going on.
