Yes.
I've already run my tunes on it and didn't have to unlock anything. I just need to know if they're ok to use. It's running less boost than before (stock or tuned). Other than that I dont see much difference. It actually ran a little quicker at the track 8.73 vs 8.77.

I think you may have lost your new flash.
If you got re-flashed at the dealer and didn't unlock the XCal before loading a tune then the old flash is still saved in the XCal and when you go back to stock the old flash will be re-loaded into your trucks computer

Hmmmm...
I just checked my strategy VXAP1N6 TQAT0NA.
It's different than the strategy that I had right after the new flash.
So it's probably no big deal then. I'm back to the way it was just no buzz right?
So is it possible to go back to one of the original '03 flashes then? Didn't they have the best power and mileage?

Wanna try to run a TEC5 in that TEC6 truck? It was a VXAP2n2 which was TEC7 but without doing the unlock you lost the tec7. Its not that big of a deal. The TEC6 to TEC7 change has nothing to do with the FICM inductive heating. The FICM program is independant of the processor unless a major change between codes happens. Like BKG series to TEC series.

Is it going to have wicked downshifts in tow/haul like it did two years ago, or are you saying to try tunes designed for TEC5 on my TEC6 program? Either way I'll try it. Also is TEC7 no good or what?

i think that is what happened to us, my dad loaded up the race file when he got the truck back from the dealer after a supposed reflash and now we are back to a FSM5, but we are about to take the truck back in because they were supposed to fix a miss that it had, and it has since started doing it a month later, will we have to pay the 100$ deductable since it is the same issue within about a month of the last time we had it in there?
