Doug tranny service?

I found this but it seems to be a major chore. It sounds alot easier to just drain pan..plug. start and run for 30 secs and re-drain pan a couple times like you said. If i do the mag-hytexh how many qts of tranny fluid should i buy and if not how much should i buy? is the dealer the only place to get the filter or would you even want to get this somewhere else? Let me know.

I have not heard of an aftermarket source for the trans filter. There probably is one but why waste time. What a mission the Truckblog thing is. IF you go mag hytec you will need 16 quarts for the pan and probably another 5 or so for the fluid you can get out of the converter. Just grab 2 cases and hold onto the extra.
