Last night I was making a 20 point turn into a parking spot and my ABS light came on. I checked the DTC's this morning with my SCT, but nothing has showed up. I didn't find any problems with the ABS wires that run down to the front axle. I did have the passenger side unplugged a couple weeks ago when I installed my crossover steering, but its been fine since. Does the ABS run to the rear axle through the speed sensor wire that plugs into the top of the axle?

I'm not real sure even where to start looking. I unplugged the passenger side front and everything looked fine so I plugged it back in, but the light is still on. Anyway to tell what the problem is or a way to check the ABS system?

Thanks,
Scott

I was told on another forum to be sure the Brake fluid reservoir is full and the batterys dont seem weak at all. Both are good.

The abs does run with the rear speed sensor. I broke mine while putting the rear sway bar on and the light came on. Its a $15.00 part and was told they do go bad.

They do go bad. However, You may want to do yourself a favor and pull the rear diff cover and check the tone wheel. IF the wheel is good check the wiring then check the sensor.

Thanks guys. I got it all fixed. It was in the front and rubbed from the crossover steering install. I had to take the front brake rotor off to find it, but I had a feeling the problem was in there.
