call up Dennis and Sheila at TS and get a 6 position chip. They seem to be the SCT of the 7.3s.

So why not get the SCT for the 7.3? Fuck that chip bullshit. The switches fail. The chips die. The boards get fried. Blah Blah Blah.

Toby, Like I said, I would say Jody is the best tuner for the 7.3, and I have run everything...

I have a new chip from Tony Wildman that I got the day after I blew up... The first chip he sent me sucked, but this one has some more time on it.

I would say in this order, Jody, Tadd, Tony, David (Diesel Inovations), and Dennis at TS...

Dennis has not updated there tunes for a long time...


And waiting ten minutes to switch programs sucks, thats why I would go with a chip rather then an SCT...

Its unreal what Jody can do with the tranny... I dont know how he does it but its crazy... Tadd could not do it and I am a Big Elite pimp...

Yeah the processor doesn't freak the fuck out when you turn the knob. I have yet to see someone stranded on the side of the road because the downloader failed. I personally like to be in the processor. I like to change the entire file in there. But hey, I'm a control freak.

4 bank chips are changing EVERYTHING in the PCM, anything and everything you want to change on a 7.3 can be done with a chip. And I have yet to see anyone stranded running a Chip... The older TS ones had a issue with locking into one pos until you restarted, but nothing out of the DP F-5 chip, or the newer TS ones that were redesigned.


I have no issue with the SCT Xcal2, in fact it is the tops for the 6.0... but not for the 7.3.
