Hard to explain it but when the truck is cold the motor or turbo pulses. Dirty turbo? It runs smooth.

Nope smooth. When it heats up it fine. I'm thinkn turbo.

Mine does the same thing in the mornings. I will be just slowly excelerating and letting the truck warm up, and I will apparently push the pedal a litte to far, and it just starts to surge forward. Is this what youre getting too Pete?

hmm, sometimes my brake pedal pulses (at a stop sign or something) but it never seems to surge on me

this is gonna sound stupid pete....but how long has it been since you changed your oil?

This is from your tuner. DJ's tunes do this to my truck when its cold. Mine is more of a noise thing. Like a wowowowowowow noise. What about fuel filter? The oil is due to be changed in 1000 miles.
