why choose doug for tuning?!?!?!

well all i can say about MY truck is...i ran his tunes...all 3 of them...

-tow---hella strong
-drive---my fav one...all around balanced perfect
-race--pretty damn scary..i only run it once in a while

i have put 100's of hours on them...in temp ranging from -10 to 70 and plowed tons of snow...started PERFECT and ran GREAT on every one..

and his service....top notch...i am VERY PLEASED...he is busy guy, but he is worth it IMO..

now...mabey we can all share our good stories in this thread and newbies can get an idea of how and what doug is all about..seems to me he is a no BS straight shootin good ol boy...and his tunes....well...let the thread speak...

I'd consider a good race tune from Doug but from what I have read on here, it takes a WAAAYYYY long time to get the files.

Doug is a one man operation so sometimes he does get behind . but you will get your tunes. he wont charge you and never send them like DJ did to me. kept saying ill resend and i never once saw them. anyway stay on him and you will be happy.

I have tunes from Eric and dfuser and they run well but Dougs tunes just always seem to run the smoothest. Overall they are the best.

Have you called DJ or Vivian about this?
Like most of the other vendors I have dealt with, I find DJ and Vivian to be honest and trustworthy. If you paid for a file and didn't get it, I'm sure they will make it right if you contact them.

Doug is a one man show...and he works full time....but i will say this..i have gotten "checkin on you" phone calls from him while he was
1-at work
2-driving in truck
3-at a wedding for crying out loud
4-at home

so...he's commitment is great in my eyes...and tune time varies depending on how busy he is....like EVERYONE else as well

Nobody is turning this into a DJ v. Doug thing, especially in Dougs own house. There may be more to this story then we know so all I'm saying is call DJ if you paid for a file but never got it.

Dougs tunes are the strongest. You need to try the Todd express. 6 tenths faster then DJ's Looney.

I have nothing against DJ or Viv. I just don't like getting the evil eye (DJ customers) at the races for hanging out with Doug. Its fucken childish.

Your always going to have people talk about different tuners. Good or bad. All tuners have there followers. I have got files from just about every tuner out there except for the NEW tuners.(dfuser)

First of all i didnt turn this into a DJ thread. second i did say good things about doug, I have never had anything but great things to say about doug. Read my post. i said hes a one man show but you will get what you want. I said my truck runs the best overall with his tunes. thats good things.

Pete, yes i did try to contact them about my tunes seemed to play lots of phone and email tag, just kept missing each other, i gave up, wasnt worth it really. and for the record I have nothing against DJ or Vivian.



DOUG IS A GREAT TUNER . I RECOMEND HIM TO EVERYONE AND ANYONE

dougs has great customer support compared to a lot of other people out there not to mention his knowledge base is (IMHO) far superior.
sometimes he can be a bit busy :hate: but he does what he says he will do. thats worth a lot in my book.
