Posting a heads up, on Tuesday the 17th, I'm gonna be heading to Atco to run the truck for the first time with the new turbo and the rest of my set up buttoned up the way it should be. EVERYONE in driving distance, that is tolerable, is more than welcome to come out! It's a street class and gamblers night. Should be a fun night all around! If you can make it- DO WORK!!

Too bad I can't make it. There is nothing better than sitting around Atco for hours on end watching the gamblers tie the track up!

Well, I would but the daughter was half asleep when the sitter called. just dumped her back in the bed. And still waiting for a call from my mom to see if they could watch them. If not hello Ice cold beer.

Lets just say that Nate was not in a very good mood lastnight but I think the hr and a hlf of gamblers running didnt help. There was some nice scenery walking around though. haha

truck was bogging down when switching from 3rd-4th it seemed, but thats just my opinion

I noticed when I was riding with him a month ago that the 3 to 5 shift was lagging. As I recall it was shifting early and taking nearly a 1/2 second to complete the shift. Part of the problem may be the revs per mile in the SCT to compensate for the larger tires.

I think Nate is just loading the tune and not making any adjustments. If he hooks up with Eric like he is supposed to this weekend, I'm sure he can get the tranny tuned right.

It's already a no on the pulls John. He has to be at church early on Sunday to man the drums.

yea he called Eric while at the track so hopefully they get it all figured out. I'm planning on going to the track again tuesday night since I just got new tunes. Only problem is that my comp. has a viruis and wont let me open any of my SCT stuff.

thanks for filling in matt and brandon. You guys pretty much said it all. The truck is "stuck" at 13.7@98.8mph. I've run this time atleast 15 passes and at this point Eric and I agree that it might be a PCM type of error. We are erasing all 4 computers, PCM, TCM, FICM, and one more and reprogramming the whole truck. Should take about 1-2 hours. Will be WELL worth it though. I hope it does the trick. I've been through everything else on the truck... so it must be computer related, or atleast I hope so. El Diablo came back for one last visit- but saturday I'll be sure to send him home for good hahaha

nate ran better times with his stock turbo and sticks..his 60' is good..1.8, 1.7 i believe he had. that doesnt seem to be the problem. its not like hes doing a 1.8 and then a 2.1 or something ya know..its funny how that truck has been looked over SO much now..its gonna be computer related at this point...and frankie hows your truck doing?

my 60' was in the 1.9 and 1.89 range all night... not good. I'm left the line insanely hard (30psi) the one launch JUST enough not to break loose, and dangit, it musta lasted 30' haha should be seeing 1.7s according to Eric. And my 60's tuesday night were the same as all my other 13.8 passes, fwiw.

i seriously have been running the SAME times for 15+ passes no matter what my motor has had done to it. That ranges from stock turbo and sticks with water/meth and no fuel work. Added FASS 150/180 and ITP kit, same time. Sticks and turbo, same time. Tranny, same time. haha you get my point. So I'm hoping this computer just sucks and needs a good reflash and we'll be boogying.

Without good transmission tuning, you can stand to loose a lot as well!

stall is 2100. Suncoast was suggesting it for the amount of boost I'm seeing and leaving with. at the time I thought I was only gonna push 30psi- i guess I'm wrong. but the 2100 should still help a bit.

and yeah dave, they said it was roughly 2100 I believe. Seems to work. I dunno. haha I just want this tranny to shift harder, it'll all get worked on tomorrow morning. I can't wait

yeah- throw it on up! i just got back from Eric's house and it seems we nailed it down. I'm not saying the truck is a 12 second wonder now, but it'll hopefully NOT see the 13.7s again and it is pulling strong through all gears and shifts

thanks for posting the vid. you can REALLY hear it bog out in the 3-5 shift. When Eric and I drove it today, had none of that and it pulled like a freight train, AND we were going up hill haha SOOO hopefully the truck has a bit of a newer track run in it. I'm not saying much because it's surprised me a few other times, but the truck was running much stronger than before with solids shifts and power all the way through. I'm hoping this reflash did the truck well!
