still getting it dialed in and learning how to launch it on the juice, fricken power comes on so hard its almost impossible not to spin the tires. this is on stock injectors stock turbo stock head bolts/gaskets stock trans. only mods intake exhaust egr delete email tune and NX dry shot. next mod: tuned FICM, 40-50hp gain should put me deep in the 12s.

Nice times! I'm not so sure tha a FICM tune will get you 40-50hp though. But maybe I am wrong.

who told you that..70 hp was on a heavily modded truck..dont expect 40-50hp on stock sticks..you will be very disappointed.
Good numbers though!

them headbolts are gonna fucking break soon enough. I wouldnt even play around with that shit. Stock trans..say goodbye to that real soon.
and egr delete? cooler and everything gone?. not bad times..cut them 60's down a little and see what its got left in her. im running a basic tune myself, no other tuning. I also have a raptor and air dog pump. stock turbo, stock sticks. These 6.0s are fun when they a running right! :hehe:

I can honestly say that my truck never puked with stock head bolts. Wish I could say that for the studs.

Gotta opt for the uber H11 1,000,000PSI tensile strength head studs, so when you're 6.0 heads finally lift off with all that power, the stud pulls chunks of the cast iron out with it.

I want to know what size shot you all are using with the stock headbolts. Single stage, double? 150shot or higher?
SICKS-O
10-08-2008, 11:09 AM
i run a single stage with an .093 jet, its a 300 shot on a gas motor on a diesel i think its about half that. never dynoed it so all i know is its working!

I didn't say I was going to get spray. Fuck, can't anyone ask a question around this place anymore?:nutswinger:
I'll be right back.......yep, I just checked in the mirror and I'm not a ginger so jump off my back.:jerkoff:

I also forgot....there has to be coolant in the over flow for it to puke.
720Deere
10-08-2008, 05:07 PM
Maybe as far as you know! Trust me when it gets bad enough that mofo will puke out more than a gallon beyond what the bottle holds. You just need to move the bottle to the bed about cab high and run a zero pressure system. It's nothing a little redneck engineering won't fix!
!!!PainTrain!!!
10-08-2008, 05:08 PM
LOL. That would be sweet. Have a transfer tank in the bed. Give it a few pumps and let the vacum take care of the rest.

does your truck sound like a tea kettle yet like mine?
720Deere
10-08-2008, 06:45 PM
Yeah that's exactly what mine does. The first time it did it, it was torn down and new gaskets were installed with ARP studs. The original gaskets showed no signs of being compromised. It whistles a little worse this time but doesn't puke unless you really push it hard.
You can make these turds go fast but you can't make them like it. There is no such thing as a powerful yet reliable 6.0 powerstroke.

Define powerful.

You can't tow with over 325 hp and you can't run an empty truck with much more than 500 hp without constant problems. Shit Nate hasn't driven his truck more than 5 weeks total since May. WTF? 2 or 3 good passes down the track and it's something else.
Ask anybody that's played the game. Take it easy with a tuner and you may be ok but add sticks, turbo or nitrous and you are flirting with disaster.

its already been patented..its called the gogo water injector kit..it works very similar to the snow performance kit..except its used to keep the reservoir full not for EGT reduction. They also have accessory tanks in the 15 gallon model that are able to be remote mounted for heavy pukage.

LOL mine is wayyyy past that stage. Hell last time it "puked" it put out about a five foot square of coolant on the ground and you could see it bubbling in the bottle. No coolant in the bottle = no puking LOL.
