1.80

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw6U5_Lz-GA&feature=related

This video is long but the last 20 seconds is my run. Watch the front when I launch. It looks like the tires jump and then the rear hops.

Eat your heart out Banks, no smoke.:upyours:

1.80 aint too bad for a 60', mine was 1.95, if you watch starting at 2:47 is when i run... my dumbass didnt retighten the front straps (always have to do that after the first run) watch my front drivers side tire closely.

Ratchet Strap. Or some shorter shocks. I have a 1000lb plate we can set on the front to get it down to set the straps. Or you could take the stupid fucking lift off of the truck.

Friend of mine has a 4" lift on a Supercab shortbed 4x4, I don't think his launches hop like that, but he's never actually really good at driving and he's got the uber farmboy bars.

Ricer excuses, bro. :upyours:

I don't know what to say other than my sorry ass truck launches better than that with no limiting straps, traction bars or excuses. It must just be the Goodyear Wranglers that everybody hates so much. The only time I can make mine hop is when I seriously overboost it on the line. There is such a thing as too much boost on the launch.

I was pulling 1.85 with just the tune, so my 1.80 sucks with nitrous.

The rear suspension is "new" and Is softer then the old setup.

I think if I strap the front all will be solved.

My stupid fucking lift is as dumb as your shorter shocks idea.

You will probably need to strap the front end down Pete with that much lift.

What was your tire pressure?
I launch on rpm's and not boost that way you have less chance of wheel hop.
I leave at 2100rpms on motor and 1600-1700 on spray.

I think @2000rpm the truck jumps. I should try a lower rpm with straps. Tire pressure is 50 front and 43 rear.

That's too much tire pressure Pete.
Drop it to 38 all the way around and see how it launches then.
