Hit up Cecil tonight, the main factor was to see how my times were since the BTS 4R100 build. Didn't even break out of the 15s.:owned:

Consistently slow! I started at 40PSI on all 4 tires, then lowered to 36, then ran street pressure the last pass. Same thing, I can't get my 60s low enough. I've launched between 1,800 to 2,200RPMs. Back to back runs, and letting it cool off for a good period of time. Truck was pretty much setup the same as I ran the 14.7s except with the onboard air stuff and the horn, not a whole lot of weight difference to really make much of a difference I think. MPH and ET in everything was just down than before.

The Trans is shifting good, nothing weird going on down the track it just wasn't rolling out a high 1.9 tonight.

Hot humid air tonight compared to cool temps in the Fall.

You have a lot more power than the school bus engine. :D

The weather probably played a big role more than anything else, but besides that no excuses, that's just how it was tonight. That's racing! :rocking:

The title of the thread is dedicated for Jason though. :nutkick::hehe::gr_cheers:

Yes my truck was being a total bitch. You could almost say it was Janitor-ish. All that was missing was the huge amount of smoke. I had his times down perfect though. :rocking:

The track must not have been hooking because you will not drop that much ET because of the heat and humidity.
You will see a few tenths difference but not 1 second plus.

A Z06 should still have run bottom 13's to high 12's.
You sure you didn't see a PLAIN Vette run those numbers?

This was a Zo6, granted a pretty stock c5 zo6 so it isn't going to be the fastest thing in the world. But everything was running slow that night.

Dude can't drive then...lmao

My buddy's stock standard Vette run 12.80's and it was an auto.

I raced 3 weeks ago and the track was so hot that my times were .3's off and my 60's went from 1.27's to 1.33's

Track finally come around later in the afternoon and I pulled a 1.26 which dropped my ET and I broke out:mad:

Ive decided to take the rest of the summer off because once the track get's that hot it's almost a waste of time.

No sense in wasting your time or money to run when you know your truck isn't gonna be at its fastest.

And no I didn't go
