What am I missing here?

I got my new coolant filter setup. It seems the filter housing is a top mount instead of a side mount. If I mount it as is, the filter will be sideways. I've tried every possible way to put this puzzle together but keep coming up with the same results. I know I could bend the top down, but I'm already running into ac line clearance issues.

No, there's no instructions. I don't think its overly complicated. Dougie should post in the next couple of weeks to lead me in the right direction. lol

It seems that the mounting holes line up the same on both pieces. Just need to figure out where it needs to be bent and use a bench vise.

I did bend it. The bend caused it to drop about 2", just enough to get into the turbo piping. Damn, I was proud of how nice that bend came out. Of course it didn't work. I'm going to have to make a new mount.
