View Full Version : MBRP is on the Excursion

4in. turbo back went in little under 5 hours..(ok im slow and anal).. but it sounds great ...will drive it tommrow...for those with excursions it helps to take the tranny bolt holding the tranny dipstick bracket loose and that gives enough play for the downpipe to jump right in...and the back shock has to come out no matter what the instructions say....

Did you cut the tail pipe behind the muffler with a sawz-all?

yes...I had to take the shock off to get the new one in...perhaps being by myself....but I cussed a while before going that route...lol

I dont know toby... Ask her... Did the same thing on the expedition... I did dual exhaust with two glass packs and a aeroturbine muffler....
I bet she will want a little sound out of this one...

The mbrp stuff is quite unless you are WOT. Then again I have no muffler so don't go by what I say.
