Some 1994-2006 F-super Duty, B-series, P-series, Medium Duty, E-series, And 2000-2005 Excursion Vehicles With 5.9l, 6.0l, 7.3l, 8.3l Or 3126 Diesel Engines, May Exhibit Engine Or Fuel System Concerns When Using Fuel With Greater Than 5% Bio-diesel Concentration. Concerns Due To The Use Of Fuels That Contain More Than 5% Bio-diesel Should Be Referred To The Fuel Manufacturer. Only Fuels Containing No More Than 5% Bio-diesel (b5) May Be Used In Ford Diesel Powered Vehicles, As Published In The 6.0l Diesel Supplement Owner Guide, Consistent With Wwfc (world-wide Fuel Charter) Category 1-3, 'fatty Acid Methyl Esters (fame) Used In Commercial Fuel Must Meet Both The En14214 And Astm D 6751 Specifications'.

I have run B-100 in my 04' 6.0L for about 20,000 miles with no known problems. Have you seen any trucks with biodiesel related problems???

Its a pretty broad list of vehicles. The easiest ones to have problems are with steel tanks, like in the bigger trucks and some of the small trucks with the non standard tank options. It eats away the liner inside the tanks and its then sent through the fuel system. Methanol and Ethanol are very caustic. Plastic tanks and stainless steel lines are needed to prevent problems. Since Ford can not know the actual quality of the bio-diesel in circulation, they are not going to be held responsible for potential problems, since they have said DO NOT use more than 5% bio. They are not saying it will cause problems, they are saying they will not pay for warranty claims on vehicles with problems running higher than 5% bio. It says "Concerns Due To The Use Of Fuels That Contain More Than 5% Bio-diesel Should Be Referred To The Fuel Manufacturer." Run it at your own risk, just don't look to Ford if you have a problem.

I understand were ford is comming from on this one. It's near impossible to control the quality of biodiesel.

I have been running B10 for the last month in my 2003 6.0L and haven't noticed any difference in power or fuel mileage. Going good so far.
