Some 2005-2006 F-super Duty Vehicles Equipped With The Factory-installed Integrated Trailer Brake Controller (towcommand System) May Display A Message In The Instrument Cluster Message Center Reading 'trailer Fault'. This Message Does Not Mean There Is A Problem With The Tbc Module. If This Message Is Present Only When There Is A Trailer Connected, There Is An Issue With The Customer's Trailer. If The Message Is Present Without A Trailer Connected, There Is An Issue With The Vehicle Wiring From The Tbc Module To The 7-pin Connector. Follow Diagnostics In Workshop Manual Section 206-10 For The Dtc Retrieved (c2806, C2807 Or C2808). Do Not Replace The Tbc Module For This Condition.
