EGR cycle question

on the last emission reflash for the 06 6.0
did they shorten or change teh cycle on times for the egr?
and severly limit its "on" time, say when we are pulling the fiver?

just went over 23k miles and its running scary GOOD :D

Deppends on which flashes you had in between. A while back the EGR duty cycle was altered so it wouldn't cycle at a light. People percieved the EGR opening and closing as the motor surging although the RPM wasn't moving. So they changed the EGR to full open at idle under 800 RPM if I remember correctly, BUT if you sat at a really long light it will turn off and the motor will get loud.
