Hey guys-

I installed my MBRP downpipe and cat delete into my existing cat back exhaust last weekend. I have loosened it and retightened it a couple times and it always seems to come back so that it will rattle against the crossmember bolts. It doesnt always touch them, but just at certain times it will barely rattle. Anyone else run into this or have a good solution? I can always heat it up and dent it right at the bolt heads and that will take care of it if need be. It's not a major problem, but I cant stand the rattle when it happens. :o

Thanks,
Scott

I had the same problem LOL. I had to loosen the turbo clamp, put a 2X4 between the frame and the downpipe and retighten the clamp. Haven't had a problem since.

Have you tried to slide the bottom piece of the downpipe further up? It should be around an inch above the crossmember bolts.

Trying to turn that pipe or even loosen it is nearly impossibly once its been tightened down. It was easier to loosen the clamp and adjust it except for what happened to Scott happened to me as well.

You access the 14mm nuts through the fender well. You may have to trim the fender liner slightly to get the perfect angle you are going for.
