I was looking at (The other place) and saw something about Jobe intakes.. http://www.jobeperformance.com/wst_page2.php?idx=0&file=images/IMG_0768.jpg&&ID2=sSlBR9 Also found out AFE has a similar one out. From what I've read the Jobe is $489 but can't find a price on the AFE's. Would this design be much better than an Airaid kit or would one even really notice a difference between any of them?

Jobe gets its filter from K&N. Im not a fan. The AirAid does a fantastic job for the price which is alot less than the AFE.

Call Reagan Jobe and try to hold a conversation with that idiot....he'll talk you right out of buying his product. That guys comes from motorcycle racing and thinks he's a diesel expert...trust me...he's not even close.

Hell...he wanted to "sponsor" me one of his 6.0 intakes. In return for me pimping his crap on all the forums...he'd sell it to me for 50 bucks off retail and free shipping. LOL
I now run the AFE Stage 2 Mega deal....it's pretty...but it doesn't perform any better than my old Airaid.

I think Airaid is the best bang for the buck.......

You need to install the prefilter to make cleaning easier though.

Lets see you take the factory modded, cough cough "destroyed" and and put the stock one back in for warranty work.

1st, ive got the factory housing from my 04 truck. 2nd, if the dealer were to void warranty for the intake, they would have done it for the rest of the shit on the truck if the intake was fine. 3rd, my mom lives next door to the owner of the dealership- so im not concerned about losing warranty in the first place...

im not rich like you toby.

why spend 250 on something that doesnt outperform stock, when you can spend 50 on the same thing. its worth 50 to be able to clean, youll get your moneys worth out a full kit if you after you clean your filter about 25 times, or about a half million miles...

If I am not mistaking the Airaid is good for 21hp..How much is your modded intake worth in HP?..$250 bucks ain't nothing for a 50 grand truck.
